 At the end of 2008, the SONACA Group adopted a vast recovery plan aimed at improving the performance of the parent company in Gosselies, Belgium. This plan’s execution is currently on schedule even though the global crisis that has hit the aircraft industry has made it more difficult to concretise this plan.
At the end of 2009, SONACA adopted and implemented a strict restructuring plan, which led to the departure of almost 400 members of staff from the Gosselies site.


Today, the SONACA Group is ready for the industry boost, which should begin in 2011, and envisages various development areas in order to diversify its activities in aircraft structures. This diversification and increase in activities will reinforce the SONACA Group’s position and credibility in a sector that must gradually consolidate itself on a global level.
